Spring break

Since the time-honored tradition of spring break is upon us, I thought I would Google "spring break" to see what popped up. To my surprise, up came SPRINGBREAK.COM. This website is a mecca for all spring breakers planning the coolest spring break getaway ever. Anything you could ever want to know about trips is here - including all the parties, cruises and "gear" you could ask for. I didn't realize there was one site that could sell everything possibly related to the spring break experience.

That is actually a pretty good idea! There are alot of students that get stuck for springbreak doing absolutely nothing when everyone else is out doing something exciting. Its suppose to be a relaxing time for hardworking students; why not put a list of ideas for an awesome vacation to plan for the week?

It looks like there are a lot of cool places to go and it's all targeted towards young college students. I checked out the spring break gear and it all looks over priced...but that's just me. maybe I'm cheap!! all of the destinations are in tropical areas even MTV is out taping in Cancun.

I hate websites like this. I feel like you get lost in advertisements. I could see why it would be useful for students though. Although I don't know why you have to spend $100+ getting drunk and making out with complete strangers when you could just stay home and do that. :) lol I probably have a negative attitude towards it though b/c I can't join in.

This site goes to show you that almost anything can have its own website. It’s a good idea, because it provides you with some ideas of different places to go or things to do for your spring break. It’s also kind of cool that they somewhat give you an idea for all the things you need to think of before traveling, but there isn’t one page that doesn’t have at least three different advertisements for things to buy. It also kind of gives you the idea that you have to travel for spring break. They don’t once give you any ideas for what to do if you decide to stay home, like make a night out with your friends or have day for movie marathons. Everything in the site requires money.

These days they have websites for everything you can think of. Sometimes you just have to dig more into it to find what you are looking for or you don't think their is a such site for it. Like Teena said, you get lost in advertising, I think every site you visit it either has advertisment or a survey. I think it's preety cool to have a list of ideas that u can do for spring break. A lot of student know what the will do any ways. It might help some other students to choose what they want to do but they don't have to look into the site. I myself sometimes it helps me to choose if I have a list of things to do, it helps me to make a better descion on what I choose to do.

Spring break who can afford to go anywhere any more. Well for my spring break I worked all the time. But that web site was very interesting. But in October I'm planning a trip to Cancun Mexico I think that will be fun. Well I just hope that getting my passport will not be a pain. My sisters and I will be going over there oh and let me not forget my mother and my daughter. Well thats all I have to say on the matter. Rosie

I like the idea about the springbreak.com but the advertisments do get in the way. It amazing how much you can find online but the advertisments and popups get annoying. I checked out the prices also and they are way to expensive.

I always thought that the perfect job would be to go to Cabo, deliver newspapers and make just enough to afford a shack to pass out in, and to have no other worries. Basically something like Teena mentioned.

So the first thing I clicked on was "Cabo". I'm instantly taken to a relay page with www.aboutcabo.net and Orbitz.com.
If I didn't have kids I'd be sure to have probed a little more into that. I'll be sure to check it out when they're 21 and make my lifelong dream of being a beach-bum a reality.
